The start of advent sees a new record for Kivernoll Weather Station... 

1000mm of rain for the year of 2024.

It has been a wet one. As of December 1st 2024:

-Rainfall 1000.2mm

-Evapotranspiration: 601.3mm

-Nett ground water input: +398.9mm

The ground is totally saturated, and any significant rainfall leads to almost immediate 'runoff', and in turn, localised, or worse, flooding.

Looking forwards to the month of December, the trend appears set to continue with at least average rainfall figures of 72.67 and more.

So as we look forwards to Christmas, we can expect a wet and cold month of December.
